Bio

Catalyst. Writer. Speaker. Pastor. Entrepreneur.

Steve serves with multiple organizations including The Highway Community in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he serves as Director of Leadership Development and Teaching Pastor. He also serves with The Leadership Connection, where he serves next generation leaders, empowers their creativity and focus, and strives to facilitate transformation and overall spiritual health and vibrancy.

His passions revolve around assessing and shaping the relational and spiritual cultures of individuals and within organizations, especially in local church and non-profit contexts.  Steve spends some of his time speaking around the country and coaching younger leaders, consulting with staff teams, and facilitating learning labs for select groups.

In addition, Steve works with Monvee, an interactive online spiritual formation organization, and does work with The Gallup Organization. His secret joys are experimental cooking, playing video games while simultaneously running on the treadmill, and he enjoys obscure music that most people don’t enjoy.

Cheri is the girl he was lucky to marry (very lucky), and the 2 little boys who rule the Saccone roost are known as Hudson and Holden.  Steve once played college baseball (way back) at the University South Carolina (the real USC), so he’s a hard core Gamecock fan, and at Lee University, where their mascot is the flames?  Don’t ask why, but he’s also a die hard Chicago sports fan, and one day before he dies, he obsesses that the Cubs will in fact with the World Series (yeah right). San Francisco is his most adored city, Italy remains his favorite country he doesn’t live in, dancing is his secret worst skill that he wishes he could master.
